Euphoria, Season 2: When is it Coming Back?

The main character of the HBO show Euphoria, Rue Bennett (played by Zendaya) in Season 1, Episode 8: And Salt the Earth Behind You.

As we have all been so long and impatiently waiting for the new season of Euphoria, for what feels like ages, I may have some good news for you! If you’re a fan of the show or if you’ve been following the show since its premiere, you would know how long it’s been since the tragic finale that made all of our hearts break and question,  “When will there be a season two?”

…I have some better updates for you!

Although season 2 of the show was confirmed back in July 2019 there have been some issues with filming because of COVID prolonging the recording process. This is tragic, to say the least, but on a lighter note, “The HollywoodReporter” announced that two stand-alone episodes will premiere on December 6th, 2020 to help ease audiences’ impatience for waiting so long. These episodes are not the full premiere of the season at least we have something to keep our heads waiting and not in the dark!

Producers were bummed when the shooting was delayed due to COVID uproars in March. They have stated, “We might end up doing a little bridge episode. An episode that we can do with a limited amount of people in a safer environment that can give people something – because we also miss Euphoria as the people who create it, too – and give everyone who loves the show a little something so we have something to live on until we are able to go into season two”. With these delays, the cast and producers are sad to say the full season should not be expected until late 2021 or 2022. But, have no fear because with our patience and these special filler episodes to hold us over, we should be alright for now.
