Boys basketball games overview: 12.6.18

On Thursday the 6th of December, the boys Varsity and Junior Varsity basketball teams played the Eastside Catholic School JV and Varsity teams. The JV game started at 5pm followed by the Varsity game at 7pm. The first half of the JV game ended with a score of 21-17 (Renton) with baskets made by #11, Deshon Robertson, and #1, RJ Apolonio.

The second half of the game consisted of baskets, free throws and fouls. There were 8 free throw opportunities for Renton, 6 of which were made. 2 free throws were made by #1 RJ Apolonio, and #4, Kevin Davis. The other free throws were taken by #2, Christan Odilao, and #1 RJ Apolonio. All 4 shots went in. Baskets were made by #1, RJ Apolonio, #20, Elijah Mcclain, #4, Kevin Davis and #2, Christian Odilao.

The 2nd half ended in a tie 47-47, putting the game into overtime. By the end of the game, the final score was 51-54 (Eastside).

Following the JV game, the Boys Varsity was welcomed onto the court by the cheerleaders. The game was kicked off with baskets before halftime by #32, Isaiah Ford, #22, Jamal Jamerson, #15, Terrance Meneese, #4, Isaiah Little and 4 free throw opportunities taken by #0, O´Shae Barquet. 3 out of the 4 were made. At half time the score board read, Renton, 18 Eastside, 45.

After half time the teams took the court again and both teams let many more baskets go. For Renton the scorers for Renton were #1, Damarco Williams, #32, Isaiah Ford, #22, Jamal Jamerson, and #5, Antonio Clyburn. There were loads of free throws taken. The total number of free throws taken for the whole game was 24. Free throws were taken by, #32, Isaiah Ford (who made every free throw he took), #1, Damarco Williams, #33, Jesse Victo, #3, Jeon Lipa, #5, Antonio Clyburn, #22, Jamal Jamerson, #4, Isaiah Little, and #2, Vershan Jackson.

The final game score was Renton, 55 and Eastside, 88.
