The National PTA Reflection Competition; is a program for students who are interested in the arts, and are willing to submit their original pieces. It’s main purpose is to display creative works of students, and encourage artistic growth.

This year the theme is “Heroes Around Me,” and any student Pre-K through Grade 12, can apply.

The Art Categories of entry this year include (with examples):

-Dance Choreography (Recording, Video of Original dance piece, etc)

-Film (Short Film, Video, Music Video, Short Documentary)

-Literature (Poems, Essay, Short Story, Article)

-Music (Recorded song, Music Video)

-Photography (Collection of Photos, Collage, etc)

-Visual Arts ( Ceramics, Drawing, Painting, Sculpture, Printmaking, Design, Crafts, etc)

Please pick up submission guidelines and an entry form from the Main Office beginning Monday, October 1, 2019 and return your art submission by Friday, November 16, 2018. Reflections are open to all students grades 9-12 and we have a special artist category for students with disabilities or have that have an IEP.
